About Judy Kibler
judy

Judy began training and marketing horses in 1967.  Prior to her professional career she competed very successfully in Southern California as a junior rider.  The breeds varied – Arabians, Half Arabians, Saddlebreds, Thoroughbreds and a variety of other light breeds - always learning from each horse and experience.

Working with such great horses as *Eter, *Talal,  Sahbi Husahn – a *Witez II son that was her first “real” show horse and many others such as the great Gai Parada, Gai Warsaw, Phazon, Gai Apache, *Mustafar, Rochambeau and many Barbary offspring  allowed Judy hands on experience with great horses.

Judy has had the opportunity to train and market horses nationally and internationally for some of the top owners and breeders  that represent the foundation of our industry.

Recently, Judy and her late husband Chuck managed El Rancho Escondido, the Wrigley family ranch on Catalina Island.  With Chucks’ passing while he was the head trainer at Al-Marah Arabians in Tucson, Az. Mrs. Tankersley graciously offered her the position to manage the marketing division at one of the most highly respected Arabian farms in the world – Al-Marah Arabians.

Judy has been a Licensed Judge since 1971 holding licenses with the United States Equestrian Federation and the Arabian Horse Association in multiple divisions.  Her judging assignments have included multiple US Arabian National Championship Shows, Canadian National Championship Show, US Youth National Championship Show, Equador National Championship Show, and the Australian National Championship Show.

She is also licensed with the American Society of Equine Appraisers.
